NextGen exists to empower the next generation of thinkers — and to do that across the full arc of how a thinker is made: the doubt resolved at 11pm, the classroom that took her seriously, the textbook she returned to in college, the platform that helped her land her first job.
We’re building that arc one pillar at a time. The SaaS arm is live and shipping — eight AI products across education, exams, talent, and lifestyle, with Synapse already in the hands of students. The Academy and Publication pillars are next. More will follow once each pillar earns the right to be expanded.

The person behind it.
NextGen was founded by someone who spent a career being accountable to the public. That ethic shapes how we build, what we ship, and which pillars we’ll open next.

Samarendra Ch. Deb
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Retd.) · Tripura Police
Samarendra served thirty-plus years in the Tripura Police, rising to Deputy Superintendent. His career was spent solving practical problems for citizens who didn’t have other recourse — work that earned him the President’s Police Medal twice, in 2002 and 2013.
He founded NextGen to apply the same ethic to a different field — building an education ecosystem that works for ordinary Indians, not just for enterprise budgets. The SaaS arm shipped first because software ships fastest. The Academy and Publication pillars come next.

How we build.
Six convictions that decide what gets built, what doesn’t, and for whom. They predate the product roadmap.
- Principle I
Real people first
We build AI for the actual end-user — the student in Tripura, the UPSC aspirant, the first-time job seeker, the household planning their first home. If it doesn't help them, we don't ship it.
- Principle II
Communities, not just corporations
Enterprise budgets shouldn't be the price of admission to AI. Our products are priced and designed for individuals and small institutions, not for procurement teams.

One pillar at a time
Synapse is live; the rest of the SaaS suite is in active development. The Academy and Publication pillars open only after the SaaS pillar has earned the right. We'd rather one thing be loved than four be tolerated.

Practical over impressive
We don't chase benchmarks. The win is whether a Class 10 student gets her doubt resolved at 11pm, or a job seeker gets past an ATS filter — measurable in their lives, not on a leaderboard.

Public-service ethic
NextGen was founded by a thirty-year career civil servant. The expectation that you are accountable to the people you serve is not a marketing line — it's how every pillar of the brand is run.
